I am so frustrated!

I have done 6 cycles of clomid, BFN, 1 cycle of injects, and am on my 2nd cycle now. I am overweight, 5'8 225lbs, and have poly cystic ovaries. With each cycle I have gained some weight (I started out at 200lbs). My RE tells me to limit my exercise because of the meds and I am told to make sure I eat well balanced meals. I read that you shouldn't diet while trying to get pregnant or when pregnant. URGH! How is a girl supposed to lose weight like that? I am going to a new RE soon about IVF (Army RE) and I am sure he is going to say something about my weight, though my current RE hasn't said anything about it. I know that some drs will say to take a break from TTC while you lose the weight, but I have waited so long already and I am not getting any younger! Plus, with my dhs job I never know when he will be around (he is in the Army). I know I am rambling. Do you have any suggestions or ideas for me?

I am in the same boat. My suggestion is to eat very very healthy. Lots of veggies, fruits and lean meats. Try to stay away from processed foods. Eliminate junk food and sugary drinks.
It is more of a lifestyle change than a diet. And be warned, the weight will come off very very slowly.
Ask your doctor if walking is an option for you. Walking is easy, cheap and low impact.
Good luck. I know how hard it is.

Yes I would say eating healthier is a good start. Especially fresh fruits and veggies. I get really frustrated too. My regular ob said that weight doesn't always matter wehn ttc many overweight people get pg. It's just not fair.
