Hello everyone,

Not sure if this is the right place to post or not.
I am 35 years old (36 in august). Last August I had RNY Gastric Bypass surgery. To date I have lost over 100 lbs. I am still at 190. February I became pregnant and miscarried in May.

I have finished my new cycle last week since the D&C and MC. We, my DF and I, sat and discussed it and decided to try again. Being 35 and over we decided we didn't want to wait.

Any suggestions or others in a similar situation. Other than my DF. I am pretty much alone in this. Any help or support I could find would be awesome.

I currently live in Northern NJ. Originally from Mass.. Moved here to be with my fiance.

I was referring to menstrual cycle. I have only had the one mc, and the dr said to try again naturally. If for some reason, I miscarry a second time, then we will discuss the other options.

Just wanted to say good luck to you. Also mention that Saint Barnabas hopsital has a wonderful fertility clinic in Livingston. Don't know if you are close or not to that. You can also go onto Saint Barnabas Health Care System Health Plan and check them out. I never used them but I have friends that did and their sucess rate is pretty high and they have wonderful people that will help with every step of the way. Good luck.

Oh I see yes that is common since you concieved on your own. They will want you to try again on your own. Good luck. Hope your stay here is short.
