We had a great time while we were away. Always nice to be home.

I needed to make a vet appt for my beloved pup. But could'nt get one till I got back from vacation. He is a old guy almost 12 I am so thankful we waited till we got back. I knew he was not feeling well. The news I got was not good. He is not long for this earth. My poor little pup has cancer. So now were are making him comfortable as we can. I am just not ready to let him go. He is not in any pain. Still eating and playing abit. We are spoiling him rotten and giving him lots of hugs. My vet said I would know when it was time to let him go. I did ask how long but they could not tell me.

Oh Denise...I just went through this. Still hurts like it happen yesterday after two months. I agree...you will know. One thing I might suggest...videotape him. My dh videotaped my baby Annie...curled up with me one night..and me singing to her and her rubbing her face on my chin. I have yet to look at it..but it feels good to know I have it. I am sorry for your buddy.

I am so sorry that you are going thru this. We went thru this a few years back and more recently my dh went thru this with his dog that his father had. It is so hard. Our dogs back legs were going and he couldn't walk but ate great and would play if you sat by him and if you had a cheeseburger he would crawl across the floor to get it so why put him down because he was hard to take care off???? No way. He lived a few more months and then we knew it was time and had to take him. I am so sorry for you right now and hope that you get a chance to give lots of love.

Denise, you will know when it is time, they will let you know.losing a beloved part of your family is very hard to go through.i agree with Goldie, take pictures and videos.i know after my baby gypsy passed away i was soooo glad i had them!!!!!!!!!!!Goldie you break my heart when you talk about your Annie. i understand because i had my Gypsy. Denise, you are doing the right thing by spoiling him and loving him, do it for as long as you could!!

i hope you find some peace :pray

Tracy...For me...losing Annie and my "granny" HURT just the same. Annie was a once in a lifetime connection for me. I took her roses on Sunday. :)
