Upbeat Updates Week 4!!!!

Okay girls, we're back on track. It's the start of a new week and a new day. Let's get our attitudes positive, our minds focused, and our bodies working! Okay, enough of me sounding like a fitness instructor, LOL!!!! Seriously, I'm excited to start a new week and hoping for all of us to have nothing but good news to share. I spent this weekend at a Women of Faith conference and had a really long walk with 2 friends at the lunch break and I feel better than ever, except my asthma flaired up so my chest has hurt for 2 days, but I'm not letting that get me down!! I'm looking forward to a wonderful week for all of us.

Oh, I guess I should mention that I lost another 2 pounds. :cool: :D

Right on! I have always wanted to go to the Women of Faith conference. But when they were in Las Vegas, I had no money to go :(

I am so glad you are upbeat and an instructor today!

I only got to go b/c a friend won tickets from a local radio contest and the friend she originally invited flaked out on her, so she asked me. Otherwise, I didn't have the $100 it would have cost through my church. It was awesome, if you ever get the chance to go then go, I know you'll really enjoy it!! They have already scheduled the dates for next year, go to the website to find out when they'll be near you again. Also, if you purchase tickets in advance, you'll get discounts and if you join their membership, you get choice of better seats and more discounts. Hope you get to make it to one someday!

Well Diana I gained the 2 pounds you lost. My folks were in town this weekend so I didn't exactly eat well. Lots of sodium laden foods though so I think my gain is water weight. I'll let you know for sure later in the week once I flush out my system. For this week my goals are, riding 4 miles on T/TH/Sat, Walking 1.5 miles on M/W/F, and eating healthy! I have a job interview today though so I'm going to be very positive today and even if I tank the interview, I'm not going to eat emotionally.

Well, I am surprised. I had my "cheat" day yesterday that the RE told me to take weekly, but as of this morning I am down 2 more lbs. That makes a total of 6. I am kind of getting excited as I just started last Tuesday. I plan to skip "cheat" day this week, but we will see. As for excercise, does ripping out old messed up drywall count??? And hauling it out??? I plan to get on the treadmill in a little bit, but I am wearing down fast today... Oh well, better finish my lunch and get back at it. I am almost ready to start putting up the new. Now that DH is working day shift for the next two weeks, I can get some stuff done...

Well, my weekend wasn't so hot. I had some chocolate...it really is my only major downfall. I had to go to SIL's house for Greek Easter on Sunday and it was awful. Smoky and horrible and ...well, don't even get me started. I have never been so happy to leave anywhere in my life!

Onto the GOOD news! I have AF...and I STILL have lost some weight.

I am down to 189.5 as of this morning....putting me at.....drumroll please....

20.5 pounds lost total!!!!

I am so excited to kick my first 20 lbs...only took me a total of 5 months but hey, 20 pounds is 20 pounds!


I also went to the gym tonight and a few times last week.

Thanks for the motivation ladies!

Great job on the 20.5 loss Paeta! That's just awesome to see the first 20 roll off. As for my update, my body seems to have decided to become a fat burning machine this week because I started the week at 267.5 and this morning weighed in at 261. Ok ok so I know it must have been water weight but hey in my mind it was fat LOL. Either way that makes a total of 11 pounds in the last month!

Keep up the good work ladies! I know we are all going to reach our goals soon!
