because of insurance issues,we started with clomid.this was my first month on it .cd 12 i went in ,bad news eggs too small to measure , so i had to go back today cd 16 and we did another another u/s more bad news my lining is thinned should be 9,i am at 4.5 and i have 1 egg at 12 and 4 smaller at 9 and 10. because of this my re has cancelled any iui's. he said that he won't do iui that late in the cycle. something about egg quality.so now i don't know what to do. what happens if i O next week and have bms my tubes are clear and my uterus is normal. anybody know what will happen?i am so confused??? i am on 150 mg of clomid,1500 mg of met plus i just had ovarian drilling done last month to induce ovulation.i could try a couple of natural cycles, the ovarian drilling is supposed to work for 6 months to a year.
well if anyone has any feedback that would be wonderful!!!! injectables and ivf are too much money for us to do right now.does anyone know of any natural products to use?

GO FOR IT!!!!!!! I think it is a good sign he is upping it...he thinks you have a chance to respond well maybe. Are you using the OPK's? I was never a fan..they never did anything in the past...but on my last three 150mg of clomid cycles...I have gotten really nice dark line on them.

yes i have used the opk . i think that they don't work!!!! for 2 days after i stopped clomid they showed a false positive. then 2 days of negatives, then 2 days of positives,and i had a u/s so i know that i wasn't O'ing. i got the re recommend brand through the mail 30.00 for 9 of them, next time i am going to the dollar store!!i have heard that if you have pcos they don't work that good and u/s is the only way to tell.plus he increased my metformin to kick start my pituitary gland. i wonder if that could do it too? well thanks for the reply!!

Her mama left her in my AC vent when she was like four weeks...so I used a eye drop bottle and fed her milk. I had her for fifteen years. She really thought I was her ma-ma. She would suck and suck my night shirt when she was little. We had a very strong bond...I will miss her forever and a day....when I am 80 years old and rocking in my rocking chair...I think I will still be crying for her.

Hello! I had the same thing happen to me on Clomid! My uterus lining got really thin but I had three good follies. It was my 3rd cycle on clomid and my RE decided not to try it the next month. So I took April off - honestly it was nice having a break. I was told that the OPK's don't work while you are taking clomid, because it will give you a false positive :(

If you BMS after ovulation and the uterus wall isn't thick enough the egg won't implant. My Re would never go above 150mg Clomid. :confused:

With my next cycle I'm starting Letrozole(Femara) for two months and if that doesn't work then I go onto FSG injections. So I'm keeping my :crossfing that the Letrozole works. My RE & I were going to go with FSG first, but I decided to try the Letrozole because to be honest I wasn't into giving myself injections.

Starting Letrozole(Femara May cycle)

I went in for an U/S on Cd12 and one egg was 10 and my lining was 6.5. I was so disappointed because last time my egg was 19. She tells me not to worry and just come back on day 16, well it doesn't do me any good because my husband is gone and I needed to Ovulate over the weekend. The whole process can be so frustrating. I don't understand why this cycle turned out with smaller eggs.........This was my second course of Clomid 100mg 5-9 :(

hi guys, Mickeysbaby** thanks for your reply, ovarian drilling is done by lap and basically they use a lazer to burn or make small holes on your ovaries for pcos patients it reduces testosterone and increases estrogen and helps you ovulate. it is not perment, the best effects are within 6 months to a year. so ask your RE if you have more questions. my RE took pictures and a video of my surgery he also did a hsg to check out my tubes and uterus they were normal. i have looked at the pictures, but cannot look at the video!!

Goldie** now i have heard diffrent info about the false positives, some people tell me that it is the clomid and others have said people with pcos have small Lh surges all month long so that could do it too!! IF is really confusing!!!!

hi Ameey, thanks for your reply!, i understand you liking your break. i was on 150mg of clomid last month and really don't want to do it again this month the side effects were bad :sick: :bawl: . i have heard of a new protocol it is called minimal stim, you take clomid for 5 days then 2 days later you do 1 shot of the injectables and then opk u/s bloodwork to see when you O then hcg trigger shot and iui. i was told that it was just as good as doing injectables only. and less giving yourself shots and alot less money!
i have an appt with my RE today and am going to ask about it!

I am sorry to hear of your difficulties. I wanted to ask you if you have ever heard of using the herbs angus cactus or chasteberry to boost fertility? I have never used them myself, but I hear they work very well. There is an all natural product called FertilityPlus (they have it for women and men) that has been proven to help, which contains chasteberry. However, it is best to never get your hopes up too much but it is perhaps worth considering. Also circumstances will be different and dependent upon underlying reasons for infertility.

Anyway, the best of luck to you in your journey to conception. It is a long, hard road, I know - but stay strong.
