Hi Everyone--I'm not one to post too often, mostly just looking. However, I have PCOS and have been TTC for 6 months. We tried Clomid and Femara, nothing worked. I don't have regular cycles with the Metformin XR either. My doc wants me to lose 25 pounds before we do anything else(lost 13, 12 to go and it's SLOW!). We also have MF. I know I'm very early in this process, but I am scared we will never be successful. The doctor wants to go back to Femara with possible shots, shots only, or shots plus IUI. Or may even IVF. We go see the RE in October. To make things worse, seems like everyone we know is PG or has new babies. Someone at work had one Tuesday and stopped by on the way home from the hospital today--talk about jealous! How do you guys cope with all of this? Any success stories? Thanks so much and good luck to all!

:hismilie: Aloha. I totally understand your frustration. The hardest part for dh and I is not really knowing what is going to happen next. It would be a lot easier if the RE could just say...Okay you are going to have to go through two years of hell then you will be pg. I would surely breathe a sigh of relief. I know it is very scary at times but you just have to have faith that you'll see a BFP soon.

Hi Bobbie--thank you for your kind words. It seems this whole thing would be so much easier if, like you said, there was a time frame and then happy news! I even told that to my doctor (he laughed). But, AF showed up today all by herself, no drugs but weight loss and met, so there's a lot of hope. I feel I've made more progress since going low-carb the last 4 weeks than in the last 5 months of IF tx. Strange, but good I guess. Anyways, sorry to ramble. It is maddening to hurry up and wait, but that's how this all goes. Thanks again!!
