After re-reading OoP, I had forgotten alot! I am curious about your thoughts on Fawkes, D's phoenix. D used the bird as a lookout when Mr. Weasley had been attacked, he disappeared by holding onto Fawkes' tail when they tried to arrest him, and Fawkes appeared out of nowhere to swallow a curse sent at D by V at their battle at the end. Is there any backstory on D and the bird, why it's so loyal to him, etc.

On another note, I guess it's a tragic irony that Harry never used those mirrors to talk to Sirius until it was too late. And he wanted to talk to him so many times... Do you suppose he could throw one of the mirrors through the veil and Sirius get it that way?

I *think* phoenix's are genuinely loyal period but i could be wrong....
It's amazing how much you can forget isn't it? :)
You know i never thought of what would happen if he threw the mirror into the veil. Hmmmm....
I'm just curious how it's going to work now that harry broke it. :hmm:
