Public poll -- we'll know what you answered! ;)

I saw a post saying she'd have ti finished by Saturday evening... I'll try to plow through it too, but I also want to savor...and with have 2 under 3 yrs, savoring is what will most likely happen! :)

How do you plan to read it?

I may have more time to read than I usually do, as DH has that week off (we were supposed to go on vacation, then cancelled due to FIL's dx, then forgot he already had it approved, so he's taking it), but normally I would say it would take at least a week, and that's staying up wayyyy too late to get some reading time in.

More than likely i'll be up late into the night Sat/Sunday reading it. Since i myself have an almost 3 yo i do still have to get up early in the morning so i'm going to try not to push myself but i'm sure it'll all be read by monday morning! :) I won't be able to stop, i know it.......

It is kind of funny - when book 5 came out we were at a family reunion in NJ. I couldn't read the first day, but started that night in the hotel and forced myself to read in the care - which I normally cannot do. This time we ae taking off the morning that the book comes out - I am picking it up at midnight. looks like I will be reading in the car again - carsickness be damned.

As fast as possible!;) I won't have much time to read Sat, and no time at all Sun cause I have an all day seminar, ugh! But I have stayed up all night to read a book many times before...that may happen again this time. :D

I read OoP in 24 hours....didn't sleep much :yikes: However I am re-reading it still and taking a lot more time. Having said that I will probably read HBP in the same sort of time and then have to re-read it anyway

We picked up the book while we were in Seattle on Saturday. Connor had it finished by the time we hit the US/Canada border on Sunday.

I'm reading it a little slower since he keeps stealing it back to re-read his favourite parts. Right now, I'm up to Chapter 17.

Max walked to the bookstore - about a mile in 97 degree heat! Saturday to pick it up since I was in Seattle and Vini was at work till one pm. He was done by the time I got home Sunday. I started last night, read over lunch today and am about to dig in again! I will be done in a couple of days, even with work.

:hismilie: Hi Connor!!

As fast as I can listen to the audio version in my vehicle which pretty much limits me to when I drive to work, when I'm out for lunch, and when I drive home. We bought it Sunday and I'm on Chapter 6 (the 2nd tape) so I still have a ways to go. I just don't have any leisure time to read a book. I have to fit in my leisure activities the best way I can....for books...I just buy the audio tapes/CDs and listen when I'm driving. It also helps pass the time when we travel in our vehicle. I'm guessing I won't be done for a couple of weeks.
