Hello all !!! i'm new here and i've been reading alot of the message boards and there are so many incredible women out there. I wish everyone the best.

I'm so confused , and a bit sad. I'm 25 and have been trying to concieve for about two years. Hadn't had AF since last november, i was put on progestrone induce AF, in march and again in May, My dr. started me also on clomid, i went last friday for my mucosa check and he told me that i havent ovulated this cycle yet and most likely i wont, this cycle (which makes me soooo sad, i got my hopes). I am going in today for a progestrone level check.

Diagnosis wise, i havent really been diagnosed, all the lab work and abd u/s have come back normal.. i just dont ovulate !!!

can anyone help me out, or are in the same situation and explain to me all this.

thanks Kap !

Hiya and welcome!

Unfortunately, there has to be a reason. Finding the root of the cause will help you find a means to overcome it. Dont settle for that you just dont ovulate. Like i said, there has to be a reason that you dont ovulate. Get your lab results yourself and go over them with a fine tooth comb (unfortunately, it took this for many of us to get anywhere). Possible factors may be insulin levels (not the same as blood glucose), estrogen levels, elevated prolactin levels in rare cases.

Are you seeing an gyn or an RE? If you arent seeing an RE you need to get yourself to one if you can. I have found some doctors to be extremely lazy. Its a sad but true fact. Have you been seeing him for two years? What dosage of clomid are you doing right now? 50mg? If so, you may just need an increase in dosage!

Anyway, id definitely be getting a second opinion and hopefully a referral to an RE.

Hi Kap

Welcome to the board. Julie said it all I cant add much more. Once you get the testing done. It could be as simple as needing clomid to help you ovulate. But get to a RE rather than the obgyn.
