Okay I'm sure I'm boring all of you but I hit a really good milestone today and just had to share - 90 lbs today! YEA!!!!! It's been 5 1/2 months and I never in my wildest dreams thought I would lose that much weight in under 6 months. I can't wait to get to the 100 lb mark. Now if only I had some clothes that fit me. LOL!

Not sure if you remember me. I am the one that had open gastric bypass back last aug. I am now down 105lbs and feel wonderful. I NEVER knew that shopping was this fun. I just feel like a new women. I am 22 lbs away from my drs goal but would like to lose about 60 more for my goal. lol lol funny how we are never satisfied. But to be honest i feel so great right now I would not care if i lost another lb. lol lol I just got off my bcp's about 1 month ago and will be able to start ttc in about another month. around the 10 month mark. My surgeon want me to wait until my 12 month but my gyno said trying around the 10 month will not be that much of difference and I am almost to goal so there we be no problems. I just hope that the weight loss will help me. Since I am now 37 years old and never been pg. I pray that this will happen for us. But I feel so good about myself now that I know I can deal if that one dream does not come true. I am so proud of you and I am so glad you are doing good. You take care

Of course I remember you!!!! I got my surgery a few months after you and I remember chatting with you.

WOw, congratulations on all that weight loss - you must look so amazing and you should be proud of yourself!!!!! I'm proud of you!!!!!!!!!!! Was it the best feeling in the world when you hit the 100 lb (century) mark????? I'm 4 pounds away from that and can't wait to say I lost 100 lbs!!!!

I bet when you start ttc you will conceive quickly!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you my friend!!! Keep up the amazing work and keep in touch with me. I love hear other peoples progressssssss!!!!!!!!

wow- glad i stumbled across this thread... I wanted the surgery but I am not 'clinically' covered for it... I am overweight- but there apparently aren't enough side effects from it, adn i am not clinically unhealthy.... my mother is though- and I wanted her to have it.... she weighs up in the 300lb range.. she has been losing weight- but being 51, its getting harder and harder to do so....

sorry for the barge but i just had my surgery and i had to fight like heck to have the darn thing covered. not sure if it would be different in canada but if you would like to know more please feel free to drop me a pm.

I am not diong it myself, but mom has been researching it a bit herself--- and her doc might agree.. she'll have to fight... i'm glad you won that fight- so many dont and are suffering still for it.... :) I'll pm ya if i have any questions.. :) right now i'm good to go.. Take care,
