Hey Ladies....sorry I have been off the boards for a few months now. I have been very busy to say the least. I started having pain in my right side in Nov. and an ultrasound revealed I had SEVERAL gall stones. So after the holidays, I had my gall bladder removed. Unfortunately one of my stones was the size of a silver dollar...so one of my four incisions was larger. I was VERY sore for about two weeks but all in all I think I did really good, healed very well.

DH and I had wanted to purchase a larger home for quite some time and finally found the PERFECT one. So all through the holidays (before my surgery on Jan. 6) We were cleaning out every nook and cranny in our current home...and moving junk to storage so we could put our current home up for sale. BUT...to our dreed......our dream home was sold   BEFORE we could sell our current home....AND....In the midst of it all....our hard-drive crashed....took a couple of months to finally get it working again..... So now we are in the rollar coaster ride of listing our home with a real-estate agent and looking at house plans. NOW....for the GOOD STUFF.....

I HAVE LOST 47 POUNDS!!!!!!........If you remember my goal was to lose 50 before going to a new doc and starting Clomid. SO.....are you ready for the REALLY REALLY GOOD NEWS!!!....

I went this past Tuesday March 8th to a new doc....If you recall my story....I was told at my first RE visit last May to eat 800 calories day and lose 100 pounds...then go back to see him....GET THIS........this new doctor NEVER....I mean NEVER......mentioned my weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a wonderful experience this time around. His plans are to check all my blood levels on Day 3 of this upcoming cycle and do a HSG..to check and see if my tubes are clear...THEN next month I can start CLOMID.....In the meantime...He put me on 1500 mg of Glucophage which he said should make my cycle length more normal.

I AM A VERY HAPPY CAMPER!:D Good to be back!

Hi Goldie

So good to hear from you. I am so happy things are going great for you. Sounds like this new Doc knows what he is doing. It amazes me how many times a Doc will start clomid without doing any testing. You will be preggers before you know it.

:) Thanks ladies!.....I am so excited. I should go today for my bloodwork as Sat. was cycle day 1 for me...and I called and left a message for lab-work.

Denise.....my new doctor precisely stated..."we need to check your tubes...because you can take all the meds in the world and if your tubes aren't clear ....you will not ger pregnant."...I knew right then that I was in good hands!...Thank you GOD!

Grammy Sharon....Are your two bugaboos the cutest or what?....I spent some time on Sat. looking up old pictures and post. I know that you are soooo proud. My chicken shirt is hanging in my closet waiting for me to be a :preggo:

I pray daily that I will be blessed soon. Patience...lots of patience.
