I just found this site today. I am 30 (31 on Sunday) and have had 2 miscarriages within the first 2 months. I am overweight, but have lost 21 lbs since my second miscarriage in November. I have gone through a habitual aborter panel and a hsg (just a couple days ago) which should a blocked tube. I have been pretty depressed about it all and feel like I should give up on trying. My question is: Has anyone here had any luck getting and staying pregnant? You have been through a lot more tests and procedures, do they get worse than the hsg? I had given up on ever getting pregnant, until I did. Now it is all I can think about. I am sorry that I sound so pessimistic, but it has been emotionally draining.
Thank you in advance for any advise. I feel all alone with no one to talk to because my entire family has always been very fertile.

I am a newbie here too, but am pg. I was about 250 pounds the end of Dec. DH & I have been eating healthier & walking in the evenings. I am now 215, 5 wks pg, & 41yo. Good Luck!!!!!!

I was 220 lbs (and still am) when I conceived twins through IUI. I will say this....mine were micro-preemies. No one ever said specifically it was my weight that contributed to it, although I had a Nurse Practioner that was quite rude.

If you have been losing weight....good for you. I am ttc #3 and haven't been able to lose weight (mostly b/c I am not psychologically ready to commit to it). Hang in there.

I am very plus sized 26/28 on a good day, and I do have one earth angel, he is 3 1/2. It took 5 years off ttc and a miscarraige. Good luck to you. Dont let anyone make you feel bad. ((hugs))

It can happen! I was 238 and 5'2" when I got pregnant almost 5 years ago. I did clomid alone for 12 months at 260. ovulated once. I have just lost 23 so I am back to what I was when I got pregnant in 2000. Will be starting treatments this cycle.
Keep trying it can happen! And keep us posted.
